why should I make a video with my class?

That’s a good question and I hope that I can give you a couple of good reasons for making a video:

1. Making a video can be a project where all pupils get involved.
2. This can increase the sense of community in your class.
3. It’s a variation from your daily routine.
4. Pupils can get creative.
5. Pupils can learn to use a computer as a tool instead of a consumer item.
6. Pupils increase their media literacy.
7. Pupils can reflect on their own situation.
8. Pupils can find something interesting about themselves.
9. Pupils achieve a product.
10. Pupils present a product.
11. Pupils can get worldwide feedback on their product.
12. Pupils become experts for their product.
13. Pupils can build up their self esteem.
14. Pupils can get in contact with foreign people and their culture.
15. This can prevent xenophobia and prejudice.
16. Pupils can increase their communication skills while planning and making the video  and by giving answers to questions that occur in the forum.

I hope that these are enough reasons to encourage you to invest your time and energy in our project which also becomes your project once you participated. If you don’t want to make a video with your class you’re welcome to use all materials available on this page. Maybe you can give your feedback in our forum to show some respect to the work of other classes.
